Hey Lovelies!!!
So a few months back I was cruising instagram, surprise, surprise, and I kept seeing a few girls posting about this new palette that was coming out in the drugstore for spring. And I was intrigued.
So, I kept my eyes peeled when I was at the store. Didn't see it. Then heard it was going to be exclusive to Wal-mart. So again I kept looking for it.......
FINALLY, I Found it at my local Wal-Mart.
Now, first off let me just say that I do not own an
y of the other Maybelline palettes that have come out, I don't own the The Nudes, The Brights, or The Smokes. But I have to say I am impressed with this palette.
It's nothing life changing mind you, but for being from the drug store it's definitely, in my opinion a decent palette if you have been eyeing it.
You get 12 shades, ranging from a light cream to a deep brown.
They are mostly shimmer shades, I believe there is only 1 matte shade which is kinda a bummer as is the fact that it doesn't have a mirror.
The shadows themselves are pretty decent. The color payoff is good. The shadows are soft and blend-able. They actually blend out very nicely.
They are pigmented well for drugstore shadows, nothing worth losing your mind over. They work well with a white base and obviously the color is going to be a bit more pigmented if you use one.

I give this palette a thumbs up. If your just starting out with makeup or don't have very many palettes this could be a good one to grab and play around with.
Its under $10 and I'm not sure if its limited edition, but its no big deal if your not interested. It's a good option because I know every drugstore makeup brand is coming out with a palette and this one is a better priced option.
Hope this mini review gives a little insight/helpful info about this palette and helps you in your decision to snatch it up or pass on it. Either way it's makeup and makeup makes me happy lol.
